XXXX European Boxing championship started in the capital of Belarus, 37 countries will represent 216 participants at it. 8 Georgian sportsmen will compete in 10 weight categories. Our team does not have representatives in 60 and 64 kg weight categories.

In 49 kg weight categories, Dato Nanava plays against Vadzim Kirilenka on June 4. In 55kg weight categories Avtandil Chubabria is free in the first round, but on June 3 he plays against Ukrainian Danis Shkarubo.

In 56 kg weight category Giorgi Gogitashvili represents Georgia, according to the official web-site of the tournament, his future opponent is not known yet.

On June 4 Zaal Kvachatadze starts competition in 69 kg weight category. Where he plays against Croatian Catalinic in the start rounds or Estonian Vildes. 

On June 2, Jaba Khositashvili starts competition in 75 kg weight category. His first opponent is Chech Patrik Heil and then in case of going through the 1/8 final he plays against Belarusian Vitaly Bandarenka.

In 81 kg weight category, Iago Kiziria starts competition from the second round and on June 3, he plays against Turkish Aksin or Danish Pedersen.

In the first round Levan Guledani rests, who represents Georgia in 91kg weight category. On June 4 he plays against Greek Arapoghlus or Scot Laves.

Mikheil Bakhtadze represents Georgia in heavy weight. On June 3 his opponent is Irish Comelius Sheehan.
