Georgian Sambo team gained 8 medals at a traditional international tournament named after Anatoly Kharlampiev and took the second place, while Russian team took the first one.
Georgian five sambo wrestlers;Givi Nadareishvili (52kg), Vakhtang Chidrashvili (57kg), Ushangi Kuzanashvili (62kg), Paata Ghviniashvili (90 kg) and Onise Bughadze (+100kg) went through the final and they were very close to gold medal. Dimitri Muladze (52 kg), Phridon Zurabiani (90kg) and Lasha Guruli (100 kg) became bronze medal winners.
Jondo Muzashvili had a debut as the head coach of the team at Moscow tournament, he was appointed a week ago. Now he will observe the sportsmen at preparing meetings and then will chose national staff, which will compete at European Championship in Italy, in the middle of May.
