Anton Pliesnoi (96 kg) won one gold and one bronze medal at World Weightlifting Championship.

The Georgian lifted 172, 177 and 181 kg in snatch and won gold medal. Pliesnoi lifted 203, 209 and 213 kg in clean and jerk and took the fourth place.

In total Anton lifted 394 kg and won bronze medal. Besides that, he set a record for U-23 Europe and Georgia.
