Today, I would like to present our eminent athlete, familiar to all and beloved footballer Levan Kobiashvili on this symbolic, but at the same time very honorable position. Besides the fact that he is an outstanding footballer, he also highlighted his personal qualities and I am sure he will do everything to make everybody feel comfortable. International sporting event like this has never been held in Georgia. It is a great responsibility and at the same time kind of experience for our country, for each of us. I am sure we cope with it suitably”, - said Garibashvili.
According to him, after the Olympic Games eight buildings in the village will be transferred to the refugees.
Tbilisi will host the Olympic Festival from July 26 including August 1st.
