After Levan Kipiani’s resignation the representatives of sports federations made comments.

Davit Kevkhishvili (president of the Judo Federation): “It is a pity that Levan Kipiani resigned. He was a good minister. We cooperated very productively. He made many systemic changes. However, it is good that he will stay in sport”.

Mikheil Gabrichidze (president of the Basketball Federation): “To tell the truth, I did not expect such decision. I learnt about it this morning. We collaborated productively”.

Gia Nizharadze (president of the Rugby Federation): “I do not know why Levan Kipiani resigned. I do not think it happened because of the MPs. It is a bad fact for the Georgian sport because a lot of projects were planned”.
