Today the Sports Committee of Parliament released a list of pretensions which they have toward Levan Kipiani, minister of Sport.
The pretensions are related to personnel policy of the minister and preparation for Tbilisi Youth Festival and Chess Olympiad. Besides that, the MPs do not like Levan Kipiani’s vision for sports development. Luka Kurtanidze stated the minister has no resources to stay on the post for at least one day. The MPs have already presented their opinions to Prime Minister.
Shota Khabareli: “Levan always states about personal confrontation but how can it be a personal confrontation with 20-30 people? If he has a personal confrontation with 30 people, it is even worse for him. But it is not true. We are interested in Georgian sport. When something is not done well, we always express our pretensions”.
