Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Levan Kipiani was publicly criticized by his former deputy Tamaz Tevzadze. Former president of Paralympic Committee Levan Odisharia also made critical remarks against the minister.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Levan is an incompetent person. His decisions are based on personal beliefs. Employee’s different opinion is unacceptable for him”, - said Odisharia.
Lali Aptsiauri, current president of Paralympic Committee, responded Levan Odiasharia’s statement in the conversation with “Moambe”.
“Even the fact that 54 candidates chose me indicates fair elections. After my appointment Paralympic Committee intensified their work. Before me, there were 3 athletes and now their number is sixty”, - said Aptsiauri.
“There were different views on those reforms which was not taken between me and Levan Kipiani”, - noted Tamaz Tevzadze, former deputy of the minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Eka Kvitashvili, head of the Management of Public Relations, commented on the words of Tamaz Tevzadze.
“Mr. Levan is not going to engage in polemics with Tamaz Tevzadze, because they had business relationship and were employees”, - said Eka Kvitashvili.
